The Truth About McCain’s Daughter

with 42 comments

During the 2000 Election there was a great deal of discussion about John McCain’s dughter.  The story that his campaign told was that he adopted her from Bangladesh.  The story that Karl Rove and George Bush told was that she was his daughter from a tryst with a black woman.

I thought about and prayed about this question for some time before finally accepting the Bush/Rove story as truth.  I wasn’t surprised that a politician would do this sort of thing and I thought McCain had done the honorable thing by raising this girl as his own.

Recently, Karl Rove was on Fox News praising McCain for adopting his daughter from  Bangladesh.  I was more confused them ever and at the time accused Rove of lying to get behind McCain.  However, this blogger did a little bit of digging.  As you can see in this picture McCain’s daughter doesn’t appear to be the slightest bit African-American.  In a way that’s a shame because it would take some of the steam out of Obama.  However, now that I have seen pictures and knowing that having McCain’s genes would naturally obscure some ethnic featuresI truely believe McCain’s daughter must be from Bangladesh.  There is no other way to explain the fair skin and blonde hair.

What’s more, she seems to be a pretty cool chick.  She has her own blog at which I think will really appeal to young voters.  She’s kind of got a Hanna Montana quality to her and loves rock and roll.  Her blog includes playlists of music she likes to listen to and other pop culture as well as political topics.  Parents out there you may want to send that link to your kids who may have got swept up in this Obama thing to show them that Republicans can be cool too.

  1. […] above comments posted by Meghan McCain recently.  As you may know from my last profile on her ( Meghan McCain was introduced into the 2000 Republican Primaries when she was accused of being […]

  2. Er, that’s McCain’s biological daughter Meghan. His younger, adopted daughter Bridget is most definitely South Asian – see this photo here:

    March 25, 2008 at 10:19 pm

  3. Ah that explains a lot. I wonder why Bridget hasn’t been visible on the campaign like Meghan has.

    March 25, 2008 at 10:54 pm

  4. I think she’s just too young, she’s only 14 or 15 I think.

    March 26, 2008 at 7:53 am

  5. I don’t think that’s considered too young to work in Bangladesh.

    March 26, 2008 at 10:54 am

  6. I think it’s time you worked on your geography, and then you’d know that Bangladeshi’s don’t have blond hair. They can be fair skinned, but not as fair as that and certainly not with blond hair. Amazing too how your prayers lead you to believe Carl Rove and George Bush…funny coincidence that. My prayers make me believe Barach Obama. I wonder whose God is right?

    March 27, 2008 at 3:22 am

  7. Well I’m assuming you’re a Muslim like Barach (Sp) who worships in a racist church so I would hope they are different Gods.

    March 27, 2008 at 5:20 am

  8. Nate, what is your major malfunction? You heard two stories, you obviously know how to use the internet, but in order to figure out which story was true … you PRAYED? WTF??? No wonder the fundamentalist right gets such a bad rap for being illogical: you really freaking are.

    March 27, 2008 at 7:33 am

  9. The spelling mistake was deliberate, need to keep you on your toes. Good man for spotting it. Yes, that’d right, assume I’m a Muslim. You assume a lot in life I gather. In that short ill informed response to my comment, you also assumed that Barack Obama’s church is racist, and that he is a Muslim too. So, by your logic, how can he be a Muslim and pray in a Christian church? Oh that’s right, he’s a spy for Al Qaeda!! You’re hilarious. Reading your ill informed racist nonsense is funny as shit. Keep it up!

    March 27, 2008 at 8:44 am

  10. Frankie–I’m a big fan of Sinatra too even if he campaigned for JFK, but I don’t see what’s so wrong about praying for guidance. Are you saying God should be left out of all decision making processes?

Damob–There’s nothing funny about liberty. Its something we must continually fight for. I didn’t say you were a Muslim. Obviously, I can tell from your picture that you’re not. I simply said that when your prayers lead you to Obama they must have been Muslim prayers.

    March 27, 2008 at 11:07 am

  11. Sheesh, it looks like I have to spell it out for you in crayon.

As demonstrated in your two recent blog posts on Meghan McCain, you have spent the last EIGHT YEARS knowing the rumor about Bridget McCain, and the ONLY thing you did to figure it out was ask God for advice. You completely failed to do the one single thing that would resolve the problem: LOOK. IT. UP.

I am saying you absolutely should NOT consult God about VERIFIABLE FACTS. Instead you should consult a search engine (or public library) and LOOK IT UP. Unlike “beliefs” or “opinions”, “facts” have this amazing property that they do NOT depend on what you think God is whispering in your ear. It is so incredibly frustrating to live in a world where so many people (like you) implicitly go out of their way NOT to learn facts.

Good bye. I hope you learn to live more rationally in the future.

p.s. I voted for McCain in the 2000 primary (and Ron Paul this time). The world would be a MUCH better place today if McCain had been President on 9/11. But his time has passed.

  12. First, I refuse to support the use of tax money for books. Secondly, not all websites are accurate. The internets are filled with propaganda and disinformation. At least you’re a Republican so I respect your opinion and agree simply to disagree.

    March 27, 2008 at 7:25 pm

  13. “First, I refuse to support the use of tax money for books.”
Good on you, Nate. Looks live you’ve formed an opinion all by yourself

“Secondly, not all websites are accurate.
You couldn’t have said it any better.

“The internets are filled with propaganda and disinformation.”
    The internets? Really?

“At least you’re a Republican so I respect your opinion and agree simply to disagree.”
Do you also only respect the opinions of people that go to the same church, shop at the same stores, and eat at the same restaurants as you? Are you really that narrow minded that if someone is different than you, you just pass them off as irrelevant?

    June 12, 2008 at 8:36 pm

  14. “Do you also only respect the opinions of people that go to the same church, shop at the same stores, and eat at the same restaurants as you? Are you really that narrow minded that if someone is different than you, you just pass them off as irrelevant?”

No I attempt to show them the error of their ways.

    June 12, 2008 at 8:49 pm

  15. It seems to me that your answer should have read, Yes, and I attempt to show them the error of their ways.”

    June 12, 2008 at 10:23 pm

  16. fuckin’ a nate is balls on again. i’m begining to fall in love with nate in a completely heterosexual way, as i’m sure nate would agree, there is no room for fuckin fags in this forum, never.

    August 4, 2008 at 12:11 am

  17. Thanks for the support Ron, but I remind you that this is a Christian blog and I would appreciate it if you would tone down the language.

    August 4, 2008 at 7:31 am

  18. You just suck… he DOES have a daughter from Bangladesh you idiot! She’s been HIDDEN from the media cause shes black as hell! Omitted from family photos, campaign trailing, details, what have you. You are an idiot. READ people.

  19. I find it offensive that you should ask us to read. Like Nate said, isn’t getting all our information from Fox News enough? Fox is really impartial! You know, like this blog. Nate always presents both sides: that of Republicans’ and that of conservatives’.

    September 3, 2008 at 9:44 am

  20. Thank you Lola. I couldn’t have said it better myself.

    September 3, 2008 at 4:57 pm

  21. “I didn’t say you were a Muslim. Obviously, I can tell from your picture that you’re not. I simply said that when your prayers lead you to Obama they must have been Muslim prayers.”

really, you can tell f rom a picture if someone is Muslim?

hmmmm – sorry – this is not the kind of faith or following or behavior Jesus is asking you for

he’s gotta be shaking his head wondering how you got it so wrong…..

    September 4, 2008 at 10:30 pm

  22. If your GOd is telling you Barack is right the GOD is a Baby Killer and a Homo. I dont think GOd is either cause he said not to kill and homosecxual is an abomination to him.

    September 5, 2008 at 1:06 pm

  23. If you vote for Republican then you are going to burn in Hell for ever. God dont care what you do or how you live. He wants us all to be a big melting pot with the Catholic Church telling us when and how to pray and if you dont like that you can go over to Muslim country and they may blow you up.

    Miss Congen

    September 5, 2008 at 1:13 pm

  24. Big D – Well said. You express my point very eloquently. I do wonder what God’s reaction is to homosexual babies though.

Miss Congen – Puh-lease. If I wanted eternal damnation advice I certainly wouldn’t take it from a Catholic. The Peace of Westphalia was a mistake.

    September 5, 2008 at 1:27 pm

  25. When did this election become about children? or being gay for that matter? (which according to one blogger my response wont be published because fags aren’t allowed here). I just really don’t see how the color of mccains daughter has anything to do wth the type of president a person will be. I can say that I find McCain a hypocryte, everytime you turn around he is trying to retract what he has said in the past. I don’t want a president like that. “WE NEED CHANGE”. Vote Obama on Nov. 4

    p.s. vote no on 2

    vote obama

    October 28, 2008 at 8:11 am

  26. what could be more important than the children – and protecting them from the homosexual agenda?! unless it’s bringing our muslim brothers and sisters back into the arms of jesus.

i agree: WE NEED CHANGE; we need a return to the flag-waving, jesus-loving, gun-respecting heterosexual nation we can all be proud to be part of again!

    October 28, 2008 at 11:36 am

  27. Excellent point Gina.

Vote Obama we have no problems with fags posting here. We even allow Catholics. It is only socialists and Unitarians we have a problem with posting here.

    October 28, 2008 at 3:27 pm

  28. This is sad. Homosexuality, Islam-Christian, Republican-Democrat, Flag waving? Man you guys talk about nothing important or logical to talk about. First off, whoever wrote the original article in this forum is an idiot who can’t tell good information from his ass. Its pretty easy to find out that Mccain does have a adopted black child, but it’s irrelevent info anyway. And the comment from Lola about Fox Mr. nate, She was being Sarcastic…..Your Ignorant

    November 2, 2008 at 2:41 pm

  29. It’s also sad that all the Christian Right eat up all these issues that are presented for them by the neo-conservatives. THE POWERS AT BE ARE NOT ON YOUR SIDE!!! The christian middle class are victims of the centralized, corporate war perpetuating hoars that we call leaders. Just as the liberal lower and middle classes are. They polarize America with bullshit for us to fight over, while they hang out with there buddies in the CFR and JP Morgan. There just a bunch of Anglophile greedy globalists. They are smart people. You relly think Bush or Karl Rove are God-fearing? hahahaha

    November 2, 2008 at 2:49 pm

  30. I’m not a socialist but a rational humanist. think about being RATIONAL. It may help you some day. A great man once said, “To free yourself, you must kill the King and priest in your head”. God is natural human mental construct. It gives us security in a chaotic, violent world full of death and reality. It’s like AA, just absolving power. O’ by the way, I’m not some ignorant communist hippie. I went to Catholic school for eight years, im baptized, confirmed, all that tribal shit.

    November 2, 2008 at 3:01 pm

  31. Ah Catholic–That explains it.

    November 2, 2008 at 3:06 pm

  32. see look, you don’t even attempt to debate with my words, you just polarize things by saying “ah Catholic”. And no I’m not a catholic. I’m pretty much anti-any form of organized religion. But I’m not a christian hater. Most christians are brainwashed, but good sincere people. I pity them for there ignorance that perpetuates there own misery. I’m for the multitude, which is everyone who is not of the ruling class elite. That includes; Christians, Catholics, Leftists, conservatives, felons, low-level investors, blacks, Mexican workers(who work there fucking asses off in this country for next to nothing; and support the infrastructure of our nation), EVERYONE. we are all victims of the Corporate globalists. I’m more patriotic than you Nate.

    November 2, 2008 at 3:31 pm

  33. And don’t sit there on your self-rightous throne acting like theres much difference between catholics and post-Luther christians. There are some differences, but nothing inherently different.(I apologize for any mispellings before you try to win the argument by dismissing my words because of bad grammar. A common occurence on these message boards)

    November 2, 2008 at 3:38 pm

  34. Oh and I supposed transubstantiation is a small thing? Maybe to a cannibal it is. As for you being more patriotic than me, I have a flag on my undershirt. Do you?

    November 2, 2008 at 3:42 pm

  35. no i acually have a tatoo of the american flag amongst other things. haha transubstantiation? Are you kidding, yea and I can fly by flapping my arms.

    November 2, 2008 at 4:15 pm

  36. Is there some kind of male bonding ritual going on between Brandon and you, Nate? You’re comparing religions, tattoos, undershirts, bad spelling, and now this strange thing, transubstantiation. I, as a communist hippie woman, feel left out. Can I join?

    November 2, 2008 at 6:26 pm

  37. Oh yes Lola, by all means

    November 2, 2008 at 6:37 pm

  38. Lola. Leave Nate alone. In this country we have laws (I’m sure you don’t have those in your Banana Republic). What they do is protect Nate from crazed stalkers and harassers, such as yourself. Stick to some nice local hombre senorita!

    November 2, 2008 at 7:40 pm

  39. while i hope he makes his way to a truly bible-focused church someday, at least the catholics love jesus, so brandon is okay with me on that score.

nate, i am a little disappointed in your earlier reference to “homosexual babies”. as you surely know, all babies are born pure and will grow up to be heterosexual, unless they fall under the evil influence of the homosexual agenda that is so predominant in the public schools.

    November 3, 2008 at 10:17 am

  40. You are naieve Gina. What do you think ultra sound is for?

    November 3, 2008 at 10:51 am

  41. I’m so glad I am a Republican with a brain and listened to my prayers and voted for Barack Hussein Obama. The current neocons in charge of the Republican party, Bush/Rove/Chaney, are liars. They lie about everything and anyone. Anything they have ever said about anybody should be totally suspect. I didn’t need hindsight to figure that out long ago.

McCain’s youngest daughter was adopted from Bangledesh. She was 17 during the campaign. She asked her mother why did Bush hate her? They try to shield her as much as they can, but this America, the land of hypocrisy and the home of the scared.

The big question is, would any “christian” here allow Jesus the Christ into their presence today, with his dark skin and socialist views? I somehow doubt it.

That is why this “white” american was deeply ashamed of this country until the moment we elected Barack Hussein Obama. Kama`aina! If you don’t know what that means, look it up.

  42. Dear “thatsrightnate”,

You are the epitome of stupid America. I hope you learn how to stop being a huge ignoramus. Be sure to look up the words “epitome” and “ignoramus” because you may think you know what these words signify, but will be entirely incorrect.

    With love,

P.S. Your illogical thinking made me laugh.
