Obama Out of Touch

with 3 comments

The other day at a San Francisco fundraiser (Figures he’d raise good money there) Obama called small town Pennsylvanians bitter.  He claimed,

“You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them, and they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

He was naturally attacked for this by McCain and Clinton who correctly point out that Pennsylvanians and Americans and anything, but bitter right now and called Obama out of touch.  Americans and happy and satisfied.  They have had to tighten their belts with gas prices, and some of them are moving from home owners to renters, some have family members away from home a long time in Iraq, and of course there is the threat of global terrorism, the falling dollar, and America’s slipping place in the world, but Americans as a whole are happy and hopeful.  If Barrack Hussein Obama would have read my blog he would have seen that Michael Medved had found Americans very content  So Obama, I don’t know why you’re so angry, but America is just fine.

  1. He is going to have a tough time explaining this one away.

Do you think he has any other tips for us on how to live and what to think?

  2. He pathetically tried to dig himself out of it in Indiana. Its on Youtube at The typical Obama elites applaud, but no way this plays in the heartland.
