That’s Right Nate

Thoughts from a right thinker.

I’ve said it before.  Joe Leiberman is exactly the type of Democrat we need more of in this country.  He’s sharp, honest, and a good friend to both John McCain and Israel.  When Lieberman lost a rigged primary in Connecticut he set off on his own and retook his seat as an independent.  Recently, more about the horrible attack he was victim to has come to life.

The night before the election Lieberman’s campaign website went down–obviously sabotaged by followers of Democrat Ned Lamont.  At the time we all believed it was simply a case of hacking.  However, a recent FBI investigation revealed something far more sinister.

At the time, the website administrater believed that a denial of service attack had taken place, but what actually happenned was that the site was set up to handle a maximum of 100 emails per day.  Surely the Lamont people had begun sending Joe email after email and that caused the crash.  100 emails in a day is more than even I get and I can’t see Lieberman getting any more than that.

Ned Lamont had the unmitigated gall to ask for an apology for his campaign’s accusations following the release of the FBI report.

“The Lieberman campaign unfairly attacked an awful lot of good people, starting with our campaign,” he said.

A spokesman for Mr. Lieberman, Dan Gerstein, said in a statement that the campaign had acted on the assessment of its Web site administrator, who believed the site had been attacked. And while he accepted the F.B.I.’s findings, he did not offer any regrets.

“We consider the matter closed,” Mr. Gerstein said.  Lieberman’s unwillingness tto apologize leads me to believe there is more to this story than meets the eye.  Lamont must be responsible.
