McCain Reaches Out to Black Voters

with 3 comments

If you listen to the mainstream media you may think that Barrack Hussein Obama is the only candidate that can speak for the African-American population in this country, but as many black Republicans will tell you, there is another voice

This past week John McCain went to heart of segregation and as you can see in the above picture delivered a speech. Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Ala. – one of the most important sites in the civil rights movement. The savage beating of voting rights marchers on “Bloody Sunday” in 1965 helped lead to passage of the Voting Rights Act.  If anybody can bridge the racial divide in this country I believe that man is John McCain.

If you look to the right of John McCain’s nose there is a man in a gray shirt.  Next to him I believe is an African-American woman and she seems very excited by what McCain is saying.  It is good to see a Republican reaching out to these voters and hopefully she will go home and tell her friends about McCain and his message of hope.
