Obama Throws Wright Under the Bus

with one comment

With a friend like Obama who needs enemies.  A friend of Obama’s for the last 20 years who was his minister, Obama didn’t hesitate to throw this man of the cloth and former marine to the curb when it no longer suited his political agenda.  Audacity sure is a great word.  The Reverend Wright gave an eloquent speech where he quoted both Jack Kennedy and Ronald Reagan and evidently that was enough for Obama who immediately denounced this man of God.  Why couldn’t he have simply addressed this the way McCain dealt with Reverend Hagee–effectively and eloquently.  As McCain said, ” I’m glad to have his endorsement. I condemn remarks that are, in any way, viewed as anti-anything. But thanks for asking.”  Now which sounds more Presidential?

  1. That only works when it comes to rightwing nuts.Anyone left of Bill Nelson scares the rightwingers terribly. Everything scares the poo out of the right wing. The Frightened Right, I call it.
