That’s Right Nate

Nate Peele’s America

with 2 comments

Today is the 4th of July and to me that’s a time of reflection.  As I look at this wonderful country around me I see an America as strong and as free as it has ever been.  I see a defiant country that loves peace enough to fight for it over and over and over again.  I see Americans with the courage to not allow hard times to change their lifestyle, Americans whose parents fought hard for what they have and who aren’t about to give it up as long as they have fight in their heart and room on their credit card.  I see an America where anybody with God given intelligence, hard work, and the money for a college education can rise to middle management in a multi-national corporation and I see an America where the small businessman can thrive by the sweat of his employee’s brows.

I see a President who refuses to join the internation community in ganging up on China, but instead will proudly show up for the Openning Ceremonies in Beijing and lead the chants of U-S-A, U-S-A.  I see congressmen like Larry Craig and David Vitter willing to take a stand to protect the institution of marriage.  I see the American Family Association taking a stand against McDonalds for supporting the gay agenda by refusing to condemn Vice President of Communications Richard Ellis’s decision to serve on the Board of Directors of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.  I see a country that can look at six straight months of job losses and not be disuaded from supporting the party in charge for another 4 years.

America continues to be that shining city on the hill that other coutries aspire to be.  We remain true to the vision that those patriots established back in 1776 when they wrote the Constitution and proclaimed proudly that “we hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal”.  We remain true to the values of our greatest generation who fought the Nazis on Normany and Iwo Jima and we look forward to a future of world dominance.  The light of liberty will not be extinguished and will last for 1000 more years.  As it says on our very currency “E pluribus unum” which of course means in God we trust.   Have a wonderful 4th of July!!

  1. You almost made me weep, brother Nate. I thought all this day meant to you was red, white, and blue sprinkles on your donuts. Keep up the good work. American needs patriots now, more than ever.

  2. why are you so up in arms about the institute of marriage, when you’ve disgraced it by getting divorced? God’s PISSED at you, nate.
