Dark Knight Boycott Exceeds Goal!

with 5 comments

If you remember, last week I challenged you. I set a bar of $30,000,000 and asked for a “concerted effort” to drop Batman’s take below $30,000,000 this week.  Honestly, I didn’t think it could be done.  Well, my heroes I am happy to tell you that we didn’t just drop it to $30,000,000.   This week Batman’s take was a paltry $26,000,000.  Now, remember this movie took in over $160,000,000 before the boycott.

By my calculations, we have cost Warner Brothers over $200,000,000 with our boycott.  This is not chump change for one blog fed up with lie-beral propaganda in the media.  However, I know that the internets and word of mouth are a powerful tool.  I hope this serves as a warning to all of Hollywood.  Start making Conservative movies if you want us to see them.

    your boycott didn’t do SHIT!!
all movies eventually go down in popularity no matter HOW GOOD they are!
jesus christ, you are so ARROGANT.

did you expect the ticket sales to just stay the same for all of infinity??
this is so stupid i can’t even tell if you’re joking or not!!

  3. Sure sure, when they make movies they expect the sales will magically go down. That makes sense.

  4. Actually, ticket sales always decrease week by week. There is nothing magical about this idea. Normally, the second week decreases at least 30%. And this movie has now made a billion dollars. Here. In america alone. The second highest grossing movie of all time. Your boycott was probably the most miserable failure in the history of boycotts. Congrats on doing absolutely nothing.

  5. Yes, that’s right when they make a movie they expect it to keep having its grosses shrink. You obviously can’t be the real Bruce Wayne because he’s a billionaire and you know nothing about business.
