1. I’ve been doing a lot of videos lately.  Do you like them?  Do you wish I’d be going back to more simple posts.  I do have a video to show you today which I’m sorry to say isn’t my own.  However, its a terrific look at the life of a typical Republican lobbyist.  The subject Ed Rogers is a maxed out McCain donor who knows how to have a good time.  Let’s here it for one of our own making it to the big time.  He’s also a lobbyist for Kurdistan, Raytheon, and Lorillard Tobacco Company.  In addition to his donations to McCain he’s given $37,500 to the Republican Victory Committee which is a joint fundrasier for McCain and the RNC.

2. Anybody speak German or a member of the  I’ve been getting a lot of hits here from them and I can’t figure out what its for.

3. I’ll try and post more now that I’m more energized thanks to Sarah Palin.

  1. Nate, that’s Dutch, which is like German but better because it’s more closely related to English, and it wasn’t used to start two world wars (probably because they were too stoned).

It looks to me like a website for libertarian computer geeks, but I can’t find a specific reference to you. I did find out that at least a few God-fearing nerds post there:
“In my opinion the flood happened around 4000 BC. It’s almost certain that it happened. Throughout the world, in China and other places, you find writings about somebody with a boat and all the animals when the whole earth was flooded.”

And who is a better expert on floods than a Dutch guy?

  2. Oh that’s awesome. The pilgrims sailed from Dutch didn’t they? Now I can export democratic thought back to them.

  3. I think the Dutch would welcome us as liberators if we exported democracy and freedom to them — they’re ruled by the cruel Queen Beatrix, whose own son recently married a gangster, and who encourages old people to commit suicide so as not to cost her any money.

    That’s socialised medicine for you.

  4. They’re still a monarchy? Unbelievable. We should do something for those people.

  5. And what do you suggest to do for us in Brazil, Nate? Don’t forget your third world basis! (and at least you mistook a Dutch blog for a German one. My Brazilian blog was taken to be from Portugal! Portugal, which is like a hundred times smaller than Brazil!).

  6. Hey we tried to help Brazil with their government and you guys still haven’t stopped complaining about it.

    September 10, 2008 at 10:23 am

  7. But Nate, that was back in 1964. Who was your president then? Johnson? Now that you have Bush you can help us properly…

    September 10, 2008 at 10:34 am

  8. I hadn’t thought of that.

    September 10, 2008 at 10:36 am

  9. It’s ok, Nate. You conservative geniuses can’t think of everything after all. But you know, even if Bush is the great free world leader, we in Brazil would be honored to be helped by Sarah Palin. I hope McCain dies soon.

    September 10, 2008 at 10:46 am

  10. But, not too soon!

    September 10, 2008 at 10:51 am

  11. He needs to survive as President for two years and one day; that will give Sarah Palin the chance to run this country for ten years, and we’ve never needed her more.

    September 10, 2008 at 10:53 am

  12. You chicks are alright!

    September 10, 2008 at 11:35 am

  13. Why does McCain need to survive for two years and one day? In the very unfortunate event that he dies after one week in office, wouldn’t Sarah be our free world president? And then couldn’t she still have two more terms?
You know, I was thinking… Most people here in Brazil have never seen snow. And you have more than enough in Sarah’s great state. Couldn’t she send us some?

    September 10, 2008 at 12:38 pm

  14. Lola, unfortunately the constitutional amendment limiting Presidents to two terms did not give an exception to Republicans, and if the Vice President takes over within two years of the election, it counts as a full term.

Hey, maybe we could start campaigning for an amendment? It would sure be popular with the hockey moms.

No snow?? But how do you make snow sculptures of Jesus?

    September 10, 2008 at 1:38 pm

  15. Aramel, I’m sure my country’s biggest problem is that we DON’T make snow sculptures of Jesus. I think He sees this absence as a sin. We do have Santa Claus dressed as if he were in a real winter when it’s extremely warm outside. Does that count?
Ok, then, let’s hope McCain lasts two years. And then nothing can stop Barracuda Sarah!
