Palin Cleared of All Wrongdoing

with 5 comments

In breaking news that is seen as extremely good news for the McCain-Palin campaign, Sarah Palin has been cleared of all wrongdowing in troopergate by the McCain-Palin campaign.  In a report issued on Thursday night the campaign concluded that Sarah Palin in no way abused her power as Governor.

John McCain’s running mate is the subject of a legislative investigation into whether she abused her power as governor by firing her public safety commissioner. The commissioner, Walter Monegan, says he was dismissed in July for resisting pressure from Palin’s husband, Todd Palin, and numerous top aides to fire state trooper Mike Wooten, Palin’s former brother-in-law.  However, the campaign sided with Palin and felt that Monegans claims were without merit.

The campaign instead suggested a blogger by the name of Andrew Halcro had published false accusations leading to suspcions of Palin’s behavior.  As a blogger myself, I reallize the great responsibility I have to only publish facts and campaign approved talking points.  The fact that a fellow blogger would abuse his power thusly is sickening.

It is indeed great news that the McCain-Palin campaign has finally pardonned Sarah.  This should free her up to give her usual 110% in combating Barack Hussein Obama and his lies and slander now that she has this ugly situation behind her.

  1. I never had a doubt that she would and am very pleased to see the end of another Whatevergate investigation. Seems like they’d get over that annoying habit of coming up with clever catch-phrases that end with “…gate.”

    Thanks for the update.

  2. No problem, I guess the Alaska legislature found her guilty of abuse of power, but the important thing is the McCain-Palin campaign has cleared her. I agree the term …gate is way overused.

  3. I don’t know what news you’re reading but the 250 page report states clearly that she is in violation of the Alaskan Ethics laws and is in violation of the public trust.

  5. Hi Katbur, you are looking at the Alaskan legislative report. That report has been made bias by the presence of Democrats. The one that was put out by the McCain/Palin campaign that cleared Palin was much more impartial.
