Shop White Owned Businesses

with 13 comments

WhiteownedbusinessesThe signs have been out there for some time now.   The sales of mayonnaise are stagnant in this country while salsa is flying off of grocery shelves.   Michael Jackson gets a huge funeral in Los Angeles, while Karl Malden gets a brief mention.   Even white youth are listening to hip hop and playing basketball.   The white male anchor is nearly extinct on local television as stations team up minority males and white women on their anchor teams.  We are losing the culture war.

It gets worse.   Being a white male used to insulate you from tough economic times, but now white men are barely making 20% more than the rest of society.  Even our country club swimming pools are no longer safe from mulit-culturalism.   We are soon to control only75% of the Supreme Court. You call that justice?

We didn’t land on Plymouth Rock, Plymouth Rock landed on our lawn.   Lately, it seems Pat Buchanan is the only one who gets this.  If we are going to survive in America as a people, it is important that our culture not disappear, but just as important is ecnomic empowerment.   If we support white owned businesses, they  can take that money and reinvest it in our gated communities.   By doing this, we can lift us all up.   This is going to be difficult and there are times we will have to live without.   You know I love good bbq as much as anyone, but I’m going to start shop only white owned businesses myself.  We all have to be in this together because white empowerment will lift us all.

  1. Jeez, I live in the middle of South Dakota so I can’t make the noble effort of seeking out white owned businesses, there isn’t any other kind out here. Oh, I know! One of the shops in town is owned by a white guy and his American Indian wife. I’ll only shop there HALF as much as I used to!

  2. Thanks, I guess that’s something. You don’t have Cargill by you?

  3. Nate, every 7-11 and gas station around me are illegal alien owned. The Taliban and followers of Che Guano own this area. Where am I supposed to shop?

  4. Do you have a Meijer by you? They’re white owned.

  5. You can’t even count on Mary Kay anymore. She has gone into “ethnic” make-up. This is a very sad day for Americans and for former Miss Ohios all over this once white land of ours.

  6. Nate, dear, I’m still waiting for your wise advice about those 15 topics I need to study for my contest for a Brazilian university. You know, 7 topics are on Systemic Functional Linguistics, whatever that may be, and the other 8 are on Literature. Too bad they’re not all about American Lit. Like, why do we need to teach lit from other countries? Topics like The Irish Literary Movement, Romanticism in Britain and the Harlem Literary Renaissance really annoy me.
I’m just mentioning this because you said you’re losing the culture wars. How true!

  7. I’m pretty sure that a lot of the businesses I patronize are white owned. Depending on what counts as white, I guess. What’s Meijer? I’ve seen commercials for Cargill but I’m not really sure what they do. However, if you want any dry cleaning done, you’re going to have to move into ethnic territory. And also if you drive a car that takes gas it’s going to be tough making race based choices. All the white guys around here seem to be reduced to running insurance companies and banks.

  8. “Nate, dear, I’m still waiting for your wise advice about those 15 topics”

I forgot about that. Can you relist those for me and I’ll get that right up. By the way, thanks for another mention on your blog. I always get such a kick out of seeing my words in your bizarre language.

“All the white guys around here seem to be reduced to running insurance companies and banks.”

What a sad statement this is on our society.

  9. Ok, here are the themes I need to study for my contest. The opening is for a professor of Linguistics and Literature in English in a public university in the Northeast of Brazil. Google “Fortaleza” and you’ll see that this city is paradise and that God is indeed Brazilian.
    1. Theme, focus and information processing
    2. From sentence to text (the notion of “text” and grammatical devices)
    3. Sentence types and discourse functions
    4. The interrelation between the sound system of English and other areas of research
    5. Mood and Modality
    6. The Semantics of the English Verbs
    7. The Complexity of English Noun Clauses
    8. Renaissance Elizabethan Theater
    9. Romanticism in Britain
    10. Romanticism in America
    11. The Irish Literary Movement: The Celtic Twilight
    12. The short story as Literary Form: A study of case
    13. The Novel of Reconstruction: The lost generation
    14. The Harlem Literary Renaissance
    15. American Theater: Eugene O’Neill & Tennessee Williams

  10. Nate, I hope my mention brought you well-deserved traffic yesterday. The right-wing here in Brazil is also outraged that Obama nominated a Hispanic (!) woman (!!) for the Supreme Court. One white male blogger said that this will be the end of civilization. He also challenged Obama to debate Law with him. It’s great to see how sensible men are spread all over the world.

  11. I can see that dependency on oil is causing you distress! Folks, the solution is simple: give up your vehicle! No, hear me out: if you don’t have to fill your SUV with gas, you won’t have to decide between Venezuelan and Middle-Eastern oil-based products! No one here aside from Cecily really needs a car. Obviously Cecily appears in a lot of parades and shoe-store grand openings, and heaven knows you cannot arrive at an opening walking from the bus stop.

    Think about it.
