Science Threatens America’s Values

with 11 comments

There is a battle going on for the hearts and minds of our dear country my friends and that battle is between the forces of God and the forces of science.   I see the front lines drawn and I hope America wakes up and realizes what is happening before it’s too late.  I see a brave Christian soldier like Senator James Inhoffe (R-OK) who isn’t afraid to stand up to the powerful fresh air and clean drinking water policies to say, “God’s still up there.  We’re going through these cycles.”   I see former Growing Pains star Kirk Cameron courageously going to 50 top universities to pass out altered versions of Darwin’s Origins of the Species showing the links between Darwin and Hitler.

Inhoffe has little use for science just like another great leader of men–Jesus.  He is one of a new breed of Christian theorists who have noticed an occasional moderate summer day and declared that global warming is a myth no more real than evolution or gravity.   The theory is that the reason that the ice caps are melting and that species are dying off has nothing to do with man made gasses, but with God being in a rather playful mood.   After all, they argue the Earth has been changing for thousands of years, just not evolving.   Inhoffe will be traveling to the climate change summit in Copenhagen this Fall to present an alternative view.   I wish this brave Christian warrior good luck in convincing the liberals who have bought into this in whatever country Copenhagen is in.

Kirk Cameron’s efforts have been widely publicized on Youtube.   In November on the 150th anniversary of Charles Darwin’s Origins of the Species, Kirk Cameron and his group will be giving out altered version of the book at 50 top colleges which will include bonus pages comparing Darwinism to Nazism and let’s people know that Darwin was a racist and sexist.   By showing the evil that has been done in Darwin’s name, hopefully Kirk can lead atheists back to the straight and narrow the way he did with his best friend Boner on Growing Pains.   There has been a tremendous amount of evil committed in the name of science and this must be brought into the light.  I won’t deny that there has never been evil committed in the name of religion because obviously Muslims and Buddhists and Catholics consider themselves to be religious too.  However, no two Christian nations have ever gone to war with each other and Christianity has produced only good in it’s long history.

There is a war going on in this world between the forces of science and Christianity.   I know what our founding fathers would have chosen and that is the same choice we should have made, the brain can be deceived, but the soul always knows the truth.  6,000 years ago when the world was created, it was created for us to use our hearts as well as our heads.

  1. Uh, Einstein? What about the War of 1812 between the Anglicans and the Protestant Americans?

  2. Kirk Cameron had a friend named “Boner” on “Growing Pains”? Are you sure you weren’t watching porn?

  4. “6,000 years ago when the world was created, it was created for us to use our hearts as well as our heads.”

Anyone who believes this despite mountains of evidence to the contrary is no better than those dim wits of the middle ages who denied science and killed people for believing the sun was the center of the universe. You don’t believe the earth is the center do you?

If you don’t believe in science, then stay off the internet. Don’t use a cell phone, don’t take any medication, just keep believing the Bible is fact and not mythology. Science deniers in the modern age- evolution in reverse…nice.

  5. Everybody knows that God planted dinosaur bones and other “indiputable evidence” to fool the non believers. You have to sort them out some way. “The two kingdoms of Satan and of Christ are opposed. No neutrality is possible. Who is not for me is against me” (Matthew 4:20)

  6. I believe the son is the center of the universe. All we ask is that you look at all the facts before believing this crazy science stuff that makes no sense.

  7. “Uh, Einstein? What about the War of 1812 between the Anglicans and the Protestant Americans?”

The Anglicans at that time in England were overrun with Papist agitators. That is a completely different situation.

  8. Thank goodness someone’s finally found a way to improve on good old-fashioned bowdlerism – why just expurgate when you can enhance the original work with inflammatory and slanderous “bonus” passages?

Still, this falls short of the entertainment value that would have resulted if Kirk Cameron had chosen the more traditional child star route: taken up crack, gone to rehab, and found a new career in portraying himself ironically in various hipster comedy vehicles.

  9. Okay, what about the American Civil War? Two Protestant nations at war with each other. Those who ignore the history of the last 6,000 years are doomed to repeat it.

  10. Exactly Dot–I love the concept

Steve, I said two Christian nations have never gone to war. The Civil War was only one nation.
